Green Awards Grand Prix
The Energy Saving Trust is proud to sponsor the Green Awards 2008 Grand Prix.
The Energy Saving Trust is the UK's leading organisation set up to help people tackle climate change. It aims to cut carbon dioxide emissions - the main greenhouse gas causing climate change - by promoting the sustainable and efficient use of energy. It is the independent organisation providing advice for people to help reduce their energy use and acts as a bridge between government, consumers, trade, businesses, local authorities and the energy market. It provides impartial information and advice and has a network of advice centres in the UK specifically designed to help consumers take action to save energy. In 2008/09 the Energy Saving Trust will reach eight million people saving about 15 million tonnes of C02.
The Energy Saving Trust’s Green Barometer – a quarterly tracker on consumer attitudes towards the environment – helps keep the customer insight team up-to-date with what people are thinking about environmental issues. See the latest reports:
